BIOeNET project aims to increase the level of training support provided to Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by European Business Intermediary Organizations (BIOs) by establishing a freely available online platform through which (BIOs) from across Europe can share e-learning resources.

The project is looking to encourage collaboration with and amongst following types of organisations in terms of training:

Business Intermediary organisations at various levels
- Local Business Intermediary organisations
- National Business Intermediary organisations
- Regional Business Intermediary organisations
- Sectoral Business Intermediary organisations

What is a Business Intermediary organisation?

Business Intermediary Organisations (BIOs) - Any not-for-profit organisation that provides business support and / or training to businesses (examples of these could include: Chambers of Commerce, Industrial Associations, Small Businesses Associations/Federations etc.)

EU umbrella organisations for Business Intermediary organisations
(e.g. Eurochambres, BusinessEurope and UEAPME)
Training service providers working with SMEs through BIOs
